The Dagliyan Houses are located on Millerton lake, about 35 minutes Northeast of Fresno, CA. The two story house(Site 2) was completed in the Spring of 2008, and the 4 story house on the hillside lot (Site 1)  was completed in the Fall of 2008. Both homes were designed, modeled, and rendered in Autodesk Revit 2008.

 

The above mountain house overlooking Millerton Lake has 4,500 square feet on four levels. The entry and three car garage is at the top on the street level. The entry merges into an internal balcony that overlooks the great room and views of the lake through two-story windows. A prominent staircase brings you to the great room consisting of the living dining kitchen with a large balcony between the room and the lake. Below the great room is the guest bedroom area with four bedrooms, all with views of the water, balcony and two full bathrooms. On the bottom floor is the master bedroom, bath and laundry. The master suite cantilevers from the foundation with inverted plated trusses to minimize the building foot print. The building is designed with rooms stepping down the slope to integrate with the hill side.
